Easter Egg Tree

March 15, 2013 by Anjana @ At The Corner Of Happy And Harried 17 Comments

Easter Egg Tree 4

After I added a few touches of spring to our side table, I decided to make an Easter egg tree. I love using branches and natural elements in decor. I’ve used branches in my Christmas decor (before my blogging days, so no pics), winter vignette and jewelry holder.

To create this look, I used a clear glass vase. I added green moss and some small rocks at the bottom.

Then I stuck in the branches in a random manner.

I threaded yarn through the plastic eggs and hung them on the branches.

That’s it! Instant cheer!! This is going to make a cute table centerpiece or spring vignette. Here it is along with my bottle bunnies.

Do you use branches in decor? Do you make an Easter egg tree?

How colorful and cheerful it looks 🙂
We don’t celebrate Easter so all of these are not every day things I see.
    Love it

Hi there- visiting from Make It Pretty Monday- your tree is cute. I have decorated an egg tree one way or another for years. I love to do it. I am most fond of the natural elements like tree branches/twigs etc. for them. I have some painted eggs, although I didn’t make them. I like how you put the moss and stones in the bottom of the glass. It’s always a trick to make that part look more interesting!

Thanks so much for visiting! I am really glad you liked it! I need to start collecting some painted eggs. Maybe when my little one is older. Now, he just wants to take the eggs off the branches and play with them!
I loved the decor at your place too! Fun, simple and pretty!
